 Beetroot cutlets are mostly popular in western sides (West Bengal), it is really a meal that is simple.  People into the western edges prefer to stand and consume on the roadsides, so this dish is quite handy, where we can grab one and consume while walking. and another main reason for this dish is its cost and nutrients value.

Ingredients;

1. Beetroot 100g
2. Potato 100g
3. Capsicum 30g
4. Onion 30g
5. Carrot 30g
6. Green chilies 5g
7. Garlic 10g
8. Ginger 10g
9. Peanuts 10g
10. oil 30 ml
11. Redchilie powder 2 tbs
12. Turmeric 1 tbs
13. coriander powder 1 tbs
14. salt 1 tbs
15. coriander 2g
16. besan 10g
17. bread crumbs 10g

Introduction ;

Beetroot cutlets are mostly popular in western sides (West Bengal), it is a simple dish. People in the western sides don’t like to stand and eat on the roadsides, so this dish is quite handy, where we can grab one and eat while walking.


Procedure
The first things we need to do is peel the potato and cut it half and after then put the potato into boiling water for about 30min minimum.
While our potato is boiling we need to cut beetroot, capsicum, carrot, and green chilies in matchsticks style. After you are done cutting your vegetables put some oil in a pan, as the oil in the pan gets smoky hot, add all the vegetables and lightly fry them about for about two minutes. Then add peanuts and fry them as well for about one more minute. after frying keep the fried vegetables in a bowl let them cool.
Now cut some ginger, garlic, and onion into small dice after cutting all the vegetables we need to make a paste of it.
Take the boiled potato in a bowl and add all the fried vegetables to it and mix well.
then add red chilies powder turmeric powder and salt and ginger, garlic, onion paste mix it well. after mixing all the ingredients, make two to four small ball-like shape portions.
On the other side make a little paste of besan with water salt a little red chili powder and black pepper powder.
we need breadcrumbs so on the other plate make some panko bread crumbs. making panko bread crumbs is easy we need white bread middle portion, not the edge parts, give it a quick heat for 20 sec and grind it well in a mixer or grinder.
Take a wok or a pan and put oil around 25ml and let the oil heat up.
Now dip the ball into the paste and quickly add bread crumbs on it all over the sides.
After you see the oil is hot enough add the cutlets ball to the pan and fried it well till it's golden brown.
this dish is very simple and easy to make, You can serve your cutlets with some ketchup or onion rings.
