        sponge cake

             in my college bakery lesson, we have made three different types of sponge cake
each cake has its own different flavor and texture. 


1.  vanilla sponge cake

vanilla sponge cake is a basic and easiest recipe to make

the ingredients to make a vanilla sponge cake are as follows

1. 225g Self-rising flour 
2. 225g Butter, at room temperature 
3. 225g Caster sugar 
4. 5 ml Vanilla essence 
5. 4 Eggs 
6. 5 gm Baking powder

steps

  first, we need to separate the whites from the eggs, so take a bowl and place egg yolk and egg white separately
after removing the white we need to beat the egg white to form a thick creamy mixture. after beating the egg white add 1/2 cup of powder sugar gradually and mixed it well for 10 minutes. 
 
           now, add the egg yolk and mixed it well. after that; take a Stirner to add 1 cup of flour and baking powder 2 tablespoons stirred them gradually as well mixed them gently then pour 2 spoons of milk, vanilla extract  and mixed them well then add vinegar or lemon juice 1 tbsp  [as you wish what you want to add] and mixed well
          take a pan greased with the oil or fat from all sides or you can take butter paper too I have taken here a butter paper after that pour the batter in it and tap it a few times for removing the bubbles 
           then bake at 180 degrees Celsius or 355 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 minutes after its gets baked cool for 15 minutes
        after 15 get over remove the cake from the pan and then our sponge cake is ready to eat now.

Butter Icing Ingredients 

1. 140g/5oz butter softened 
2. 280g/10oz icing sugar 
3. 1-2 tbsp milk 
4. few drops of food coloring 

Method 

1. Beat the margarine in an enormous bowl until delicate. Add half of the icing sugar and beat until smooth.

2. Add the excess icing sugar and one tablespoon of the milk and beat the combination until velvety and smooth. Beat in the milk, if vital, to release the blend.

3. Mix in the food shading until very much joined. Planning time under 30 mins Cooking time no cooking required Serves Makes sufficient icing for 1 medium cake

for decorating the cake 

cut the sponge cake horizontally into three slices
add some sugar syrup to each slice to make our cake tastier and sweet, after mixing with sugar syrup add the wiping cream to stick all the slices on top of each other 
cover your cake with wiping cream all over the top and decorate according to your style
 

2. raspberry strawberry cake


we have made this cake with the same procedure with just an additional touch in it
first, we need to make our sponge cake (recipe at the top), 
when it comes to decore we just add some strawberry syrup to the wiping cream


3. chocolate rum cake

for every sponge cake, the recipe will be the same as follows 

in this case, we need to add rum and coffee to the sugar syrup to enhance the flavor.
           and for the decoration add chocolate syrup at the top of the sponge cake to make our cake more beautiful.
