PHULKA

                 Roti is a sort of Indian flatbread produced using atta (entire wheat flour). A phulka is a particular sort of roti is incompletely cooked on a tava (level skillet) and part of the way on an open fire prompting the phulka to expand up.


 

ingredients; 

1. Whole-wheat flour                        200 Gm
2. Salt                                                 2-3 Gm
3. Oil                                                   5-7 Ml
4. Ghee (optional)                          For serving

Pre- preparation: 

1. Add flour and salt to an enormous bowl, adding little water at a time to make a delicate, flexible mixture.

2. Massage batter until it is smooth and flexible. Add oil to cover the mixture and work somewhat more.

3. The mixture will be delicate, firm, and nonsticky.

 4. Put away covered for 30 minutes. The more you massage, the less water will be expected as the glow of the hand will make the batter gentler. The batter must be firm yet delicate.

5. Make lemon-sized balls and carry them out meager to roughly 6 crawls in breadth. 

Note throwing the batter in dry flour while moving will keep it from getting tacky while going out.




Preparation: 

1. Put phulka on the hot frying pan/skillet. Cook for around 1 moment, until the top, begins to look dry and little air pockets begin to frame. Flip and cook the opposite side for around 30 seconds until little air pockets structure.

2. Take the phulka off the frying pan/skillet and turn the hotness to medium, and put the phulka straightforwardly on the fire. It ought to swell into a circular shape and puff up. Eliminate from fire and spread ghee on one side and serve hot.
